Love Like This

Ossi Grace

Since ‘93

WE SAY

Continuing our Ones To Watch 2026 is Nigerian-born, UK-based rising talent Ossi Grace, who is fast becoming one of Afro-Soul’s most compelling new voices. Raised in Lagos, she channels lived experiences into stripped-back, emotionally rich songwriting that blends her Yoruba heritage with global influences. After first appearing on M.I. Abaga’s 2022 track 'Crazy', she stepped forward with her 2024 debut single 'Reason', leading to her soul-stirring EP 'In A Hopeless Place', released in October. Produced by PGRSHN, Mojam, and Remmy Baggins, the project places her firmly outside the Afrobeats mould, weaving traces of Tracy Chapman, Rihanna, Sade, and Fela Kuti into a modern, intimate palette. Her recent single 'Love Like This' perfectly showcases her angelic, resonant vocal paired with emotional lyricism. The rise has been swift: national radio support from Kiss Xtra and Capital Xtra, specialist spins across Reprezent, Rinse and The Beat LDN, and strong DSP backing in both the UK and across Africa, where Apple Music recently placed her on the cover of Africa Rising. Press acclaim continues to grow, with accolades from House of Solo, Echoes, Deeds Magazine, Blues & Soul, Billboard Africa and numerous Nigerian platforms. With 'Love Like This' marking her most assured release yet, Ossi Grace looks set for a breakout year and is defining her own path in Afro-Soul’s evolving landscape.
