I Don’t Speak French

WE SAY

Next up on our Ones To Watch 2026 is rising dance-pop force Rose Gray. Born on New Year’s Eve and raised in Walthamstow, she channels the emotion, euphoria, and escapism of club culture into a sound that fuses classic pop hooks with rave sensibilities. After first emerging in 2019, she signed to PIAS for two EPs and her debut album 'Louder, Please', released in January. Following its release, she was crowned MTV Push Artist 2025, propelling her forward into a busy year. Now signed to Polydor, Rose has released 'A Little Louder, Please', the deluxe edition of her debut featuring collaborations with Melanie C, JADE and Shygirl, new tracks including the sleek 'I Don’t Speak French', and club reworks from Logic1000, Peach and Alex Chapman. Tastemaker champions have lined up across the board with support from BBC Radio 1, Wonderland, Interview, Euphoria, and The Guardian, to name just a few, plus strong DSP backing. Her live presence has been equally explosive. This year alone, she’s completed a sold-out UK/EU tour, including two rammed hometown shows at Village Underground, supported Charli XCX at LIDO Festival, toured Europe with Confidence Man, and hit US stages with Kesha and Scissor Sisters, the latter leading to their collaborative single 'Attention'. She’s also made her South American debut with shows in Brazil and Mexico, appeared at Glastonbury with Shygirl, recorded a BBC Maida Vale session, hosted her own Gray Selects club night, and featured in British Vogue’s Next Gen “It Girls” list. With a Lorde support slot at All Points East confirmed for summer and her biggest headline tour set for May 2026, Rose Gray’s ascent shows no signs of slowing.
