CHRONIC

Cody Frost

Truth Music Group/RCA

WE SAY

Our final Ones To Watch artist this week is Burnley-born non-binary musician, illustrator, and tattoo artist Cody Frost. Since their 2021 debut EP 'IT'S NOT REAL', Cody has racked up over 3m streams for their hybrid blend of glitchy hyperpop with punk and metal. Cody's releases, including the previous RotD-featured track 'PROCESS', have earned support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, MTV Gonzo, Rocksound, Kerrang!, Hunger, Billboard, and others. They've also collaborated with Enter Shikari, Debbie Gough (Heriot), You Me At Six, and Bury Tomorrow, while building their reputation as a multidisciplinary creative that is equally at home illustrating and tattooing as they are crafting unfiltered alternative anthems. Last week, they dropped their ambitious 'MECHAEVAL' EP, along with the focus track 'CHRONIC' that tackles digital-age numbness and the search for something real in an overstimulated world. The EP campaign has seen Cody score playlist covers and widespread DSP support, plus a growing media footprint with their Student Union’s Access All Areas podcast, You Should Media interview, and two more covers and a magazine spread all to come this side of the year. With a distinct visual identity, unfiltered songwriting, and a sound that pushes at the edge of the alt-pop landscape, Cody Frost is an exciting artist to keep an eye on in 2026.
