London-based artist, violinist and producer IMVN returns with ‘Host’, a striking new single from her upcoming project ‘Syren’ (out September via ColorsxStudios). Co-written and produced with Ollie Deane during a single-day studio session, ‘Host’ was inspired by a friend’s toxic relationship, before morphing into a personal metaphor for emotional release and transformation. Released earlier this week, the track blends haunting ambient soundscapes, electronic textures, live drums and soaring vocals into a cinematic, emotionally raw sound. Vulnerable, open and strikingly immersive, ‘Host’ is a beautiful and dynamic track deserving of your attention.
