Nostalgia

Gabi Goldman

Redvolution Music & Entertainment AB

WE SAY

It’s been just over a year since we featured Swedish pop and R&B artist Gabi Goldman and her sensual R&B pop anthem ‘For Myself’. Since then, the Stockholm-based artist has released her bold and emotionally candid debut EP ‘For Myself’—a collection that dives deep into the complexities of messy situationships, lust, loneliness, and self-reflection. The final single from the EP, ‘Nostalgia’, is an absolute gem. Produced by Stuart Crichton (Kesha, Kylie Minogue, Louis Tomlinson) and co-written with James Newman (Calvin Harris, Rudimental, Jess Glynne), the track opens with a tender piano motif before blooming into a joyously addictive pop tale of longing. Dreamy chords, a buoyant piano hook and lush, shimmering production form the perfect backdrop for Gabi’s honeyed, soulful vocals. It is one of those tracks that hooks you instantly and grows with every play. Released last week, ‘Nostalgia’ is primed for airplay. With its radio-friendly air and universal appeal, it’s a natural fit for Radio 1’s Future Pop and the more pop-leaning shows on Radio 2. Plus, it would sound perfect on New Pop or those editorial playlists themed around romance and longing at DSPs. With tastemaker support from Colors, Wonderland, Euphoria, Official Charts, The Line of Best Fit, Ones To Watch and more, Gabi Goldman has a promising future ahead of her.
