Raised across the Bahamas, Switzerland, Beijing and the UK, and fluent in four languages, London-based artist Tanis returns today (25 July) with 'Kid' – a shimmering, nostalgic pop gem that reflects on the desire to escape the weight of adulthood and revisit the innocence of childhood. Clocking in at just under three minutes, the Paris-born singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist blends sweeping melodic hooks, a driving tempo and an anthemic chorus to deliver an infectious and emotionally resonant track. Following national radio play in France for previous single ‘Toujours Là’ and Wonderland features for ‘Priority’, ‘Kid’ is a strong, accessible follow-up that’s primed for new pop playlists and a wider international breakthrough.
