British singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Luke Marzec delivers a deeply affecting, soul-infused meditation on growth and renewal with 'Broken Promises'. Anchored by his rich, gravel-edged vocal, the track unfolds with understated power, blending plaintive keys, subtle electronics and introspective lyricism into a warm, cathartic offering. With a background in jazz and classical training and a résumé that includes collaborations with Maverick Sabre, VC Pines, and Jazzanova, the Bristol/South Devon-based artist has created a rich, warm sonic identity. His debut album 'Something Good Out Of Nothing' arrives next month via Swift Half Records, following praise from Earmilk, BBC Introducing (who called him “our very own answer to Teddy Swims”), and over 15m Spotify streams. To mark the album’s release, Marzec will perform an intimate launch show at The Barrel House in Totnes, followed by a festival set at Boardmasters the next day. 'Broken Promises' is a compelling entry point for new listeners — soul-rooted, emotionally honest and quietly powerful. A natural fit for Radio 2 spins and mellow/soulful DSP playlists.
