Last month, we introduced you to Norwegian-British singer-songwriter Nelly Moar and her heartfelt blend of soul and groove-driven R&B with 'Better Without Me'. Now she returns with her debut album 'Love's Law' (out now), delivering a collection that spans soulful ballads and upbeat R&B/pop anthems. Focus track 'Not Going Home' marks a shift in tempo and style with its dance-pop aesthetics, infectious bassline and an almost Metronomy-esque feel. Beneath the vibrant production and uplifting energy lies a poignant lyrical core—a meditation on loneliness and the reluctance to return to an empty apartment. This juxtaposition of melancholic longing wrapped in euphoric sonics makes it a perfect fit for DSP playlists like New Pop and Sad Songs, as well as spins on Radio 1's Future Pop.
