Jeremy
Oliver Marson
WE SAY
London’s theatrical pop outsider Oliver Marson is back with ‘Jeremy’ – a warped, gothic art-pop gem and the first glimpse of upcoming EP 'Into The Darkness' (out 14 November via High Road Records). Inspired by a real article on LSD microdosing in the workplace, it’s a lurid descent into the extremes of modern self-optimisation. Unfolding like a psychological short film, the track rides warped guitars and slinking basslines through a hall-of-mirrors soundscape, conjuring the theatrical intensity of Sparks, Nick Cave, and Scott Walker. This is pop on the brink – darkly compelling, unflinchingly theatrical, and brilliantly unhinged. With early praise in from Clash and previous support from The FADER, The Needle Drop, Rolling Stone, Wonderland, and BBC 6 Music, Marson continues to carve out his own surreal, satirical lane. Essential listening for fans of outsider storytelling and art-pop spectacle.
