WE SAY

It’s been just over four months since we featured the glitchy, electroclash-tinged dance banger ‘All I Am’ from Australian electronic artist Ninajirachi. Since then, the track has reached No.1 Most Played on Triple J radio, marked her debut entry in the ARIA singles charts, earned her Spotify’s Equal Ambassador title for April, and a spot on Rolling Stone AU/NZ’s ‘Future of Music’ list. Last month, Ninajirachi announced the release of her debut album, ‘I Love My Computer’ on 8 August and dropped ‘iPod Touch’ — a shimmering, late-’00s/early-’10s-inspired dance cut bursting with fizzy synths, pitch-warped vocals and sparkling, glitch-laced production. Instantly added to key Spotify playlists, the track has earned praise from EDM.com, Acid Stag, and Rolling Stone, and builds on a wave of momentum that’s seen previous support from NME, The Guardian, Crack Magazine, and Billboard. Following a US tour earlier this year, Ninajirachi hits Europe this summer, including a date at London’s Corsica Studios on 19 July.
