Just Kids
WE SAY
Unsigned London trio F.U.R.S have been together barely a year - siblings Liam and Danielle Wade excepted - but they have achieved a lot in that time. Debut single Striptease, released in March via Loose Lips, drew much online love from the likes of Fake DIY and Wonderland magazine, even picking up a few spot plays at Radio 1. The band joined Johnny Marr on tour soon after. New single Just Kids, all glistening autoharps and big, retro-pop choruses, is a peppy paean to teenage folly - a one-listen radio record halfway between Blondie and Friends. Both tracks were recorded at Crows Nest Studios in London, mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer (The Vaccines, Johnny Marr, Temples). Xfm have added Just Kids to their evening playlist, while Amazing Radio have A-listed it, with sessions to come from Xfm (Xposure) and Radio 2 (Dermot O'Leary).
