Hazy, intimate, and emotionally sharp, 'Real Life' is the third single from Melbourne/Naarm trio Acopia's upcoming LP 'Blush Response' (out 12 September). Built around a looping arpeggio and soft, self-aware lyricism, 'Real Life' explores themes of obsessive love and emotional fatigue with elegance and restraint. Released earlier this week, the track is a delicate blend of dream-pop, downtempo, and post-punk minimalism, perfect for intimate and atmospheric alternative playlists. Since forming in 2018, Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright have drawn praise for their music from Pitchfork, RA, The Guardian, FADER, The Line of Best Fit and more. Now gearing up for a UK/EU tour next month in support of the release of their LP, Acopia will play a show at the Moth Club in London on 12 September- a date well worth marking in the calendar.
