Making It Easy
We say
Stripped-back yet emotionally charged, 'Making It Easy' is the second chapter of Irish alt-pop artist Ocean Tisdall's personal acoustic project, following the RotD featured 'Sugar In His Tea'. Built around delicate guitar chords and Tisdall’s soulful, unguarded vocal, it’s a quiet anthem of heartbreak - reflective, graceful and piercingly honest. Written in Ocean's kitchen with his friend and co-writer Nina following a conversation with his mother and later produced with Prentice in Edinburgh, the song's authentic emotional core shines through every line. Evoking comparisons with Lewis Capaldi, Cian Ducrot and Tom Odell, Tisdall produces music that pairs raw vulnerability with melodic simplicity, and his latest release is another gem. Recent tastemaker support has come from Hot Press, Golden Plec, Earmilk, Ones To Watch, EQ Music and The Irish Post. This is heartbreak pop at its finest.
