Back in May, we featured the tender and intimate Drag You Down from 22 year old Leamington Spa singer-songwriter Joe Dolman. The track was heavily featured across streaming services with additions on Apple Music’s Today’s Acoustic and Deezer’s Smooth Hits UK playlists, plus programming in 13 territories on YouTube Music. He is now back with his gorgeous follow up, Happy For You, ahead of his showcase gig at the Live at Heart conference in Sweden this Friday (6 September). Lush acoustic guitar melodies combine with soft rippling percussion and a soaring chorus in this reflective number, perfect for mellow and uplifting mood playlists. With previous radio support at Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), Radio 2 (Janice Long), Amazing Radio, and BBC Introducing (Track of the Week & Band of the Month), Joe continues to deliver beautifully written, radio friendly tunes with his latest track, and one that, we reckon, deserves airplay too.
