Twin Atlantic
Brothers And Sisters

Red Bull Records

WE SAY

It's almost three years since we first featured Twin Atlantic with the excellent track Free. They now have a devoted fanbase turning out to see them live wherever they play and when we caught them recently on home turf at T In The Park, it's clear they can truly hold their own up amongst the big boys. Earlier in the summer Heart And Soul (the first single from forthcoming album Great Divide) surprised many by becoming that rare thing in 2014 - a guitar track that managed to break the UK Top 20. This is the follow-up and it's clearly their best song to date. Passionate and emotionally charged throughout with a killer vocal from singer Sam McTrusty in his distinctive Scottish brogue, it's already leapt onto Radio 1's A-list and both Absolute Radio and Xfm are banging it out too. Even Ken Bruce at Radio 2 has had the band in for a session during his current run of shows from north of the border. Biffy Clyro or Snow Patrol would probably kill for a song this good to add to their setlists. Recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales by the great Gil Norton and in LA by Jacknife Lee, their sound seems ready to take on any venue in the world right now and blow the roof off. Along with Lower Than Atlantis and Royal Blood, both of whom we've featured in the past few months, British rock looks set to take over the world again in the next 12 months. Twin Atlantic completes that trio of essential guitar-wielding acts that will undoubtedly dominate. Prepare to fall at their feet.
