The Other Tribe
My Girl

Relentless

WE SAY

The summer festival season is made for bands like Bristol's technicolour five-piece The Other Tribe, who have been cutting up stages from Glastonbury to Secret Garden Party to Ibiza Rocks (main Bastille support) with their hedonistic live show. Emanating from the same scene that spawned Julio Bashmore and Eats Everything, they follow previous dancefloor entreaties We Should Be Dancing and Sing With Your Feet with My Girl, another tribally inflected fusion of deep house and indie which looks set to build on the success of debut chart hit Skirts. Radio support to date includes Pete Tong, Phil and Alice, Danny Howard and Rob Da Bank at Radio 1, plus Friction (1Xtra) and Eddy Temple Morris (Xfm). The band have just announced a brace of headline shows in October, finding time in between to re-enter the studio with producer Mark Ralph (Hot Natured, Hot Chip, Digitalism) to work on their debut album.
