Rising singer-songwriter Juno James continues her rapid ascent with 'Cowboy', a poignant fusion of contemporary pop and country soul. Written in Los Angeles in the aftermath of heartbreak, the track finds Juno's vocals floating over dreamy arrangements and delicate acoustic melodies, delivering confessional lyrics with stunning intimacy. Building on the previous single 'Can't Fit In His Shoes', which earned multiple spins from BBC Introducing's Abbie McCarthy (who named it Record of the Week) and BBC Radio 1's Mollie King, 'Cowboy' landed on new release programming at Spotify and Amazon Music last Friday. Her music has also secured tastemaker support from Spotify (All New Pop, Next Gen Singer-Songwriters, Sad Hour) and Apple Music (New in Pop UK, France). Since her spring debut, Juno has amassed over 167k TikTok followers and 131k Instagram fans, quickly establishing herself as an artist unafraid to showcase both strength and sensitivity in equal measure. 'Cowboy' is her most vulnerable offering yet, making her an artist to keep an eye for 2026.
