Raw, loud and unapologetic, 'Gonna Break' is the explosive new single from RotD favs and Brighton trio Honeybadger. Fueled by scuzzy guitars, visceral energy and unfiltered emotion, it distils the chaos of their live shows while honing their flair for hook-driven intensity. Imagine Nirvana colliding with Queens of the Stone Age, shaken up with a splash of Muse – the result is a gloriously volatile cocktail built to rattle walls. Written about powering through when everything feels like it’s collapsing, 'Gonna Break' bristles with urgency and could easily become an anthem for a generation navigating an increasingly dark and uncertain world. Honeybadger's ferocity and sound has already earned them early tastemaker support, with spins on BBC Radio 1 (Alyx Holcombe), BBC Introducing, BBC Live Lounge, Kerrang! and Planet Rock’s New Rock Show, plus playlisting across Spotify (Fresh Finds Rock, Shockwave), Apple Music (New in Rock, New in Punk) and Amazon Music (Breakthrough Rock). Next up, the band will play The Green Door Store in Brighton on 29 September before releasing their new EP 'State Of Play' in January 2026. The trio are now seeking a live agent to help take their explosive sound on the road, with UK tours, festivals and showcase slots firmly in their sights.
