Alex Winston
Locomotive

HeavyRoc

WE SAY

Produced by The Knocks and mixed by Charlie Hugall (Florence And The Machine), Locomotive is the first single from Detroit-born Alex Winston's mini-album Sister Wife, which is out on New York label HeavyRoc next month. The title track was tipped recently on NME.com's Daily Download and The Guardian music blog, who said it 'continues her rich vein of chart-friendly pop with an edge'. Locomotive further proves her pop nous - this will sound great on the radio. Her New To Q gig this week is only her second London show and comes ahead of her NME Awards Show headline gig in February.

London gig: New To Q at Bush Hall W12 (w/ Egyptian Hip Hop)
