Ed Sheeran
Lately (ft. Devlin)

unsigned/ Asylum

WE SAY

Following several years as a DIY artist on the live circuit, Suffolk-born Ed Sheeran has delivered his final self-funded EP release before signing to a worldwide recording deal with Asylum. The talent involved in No.5 Collaborations Project (Devlin, Wiley, P Money, Ghetts, Sway and Wretch 32 all appear on the EP) is telling of the regard in which he's held in UK urban music circles. With no promotion beyond word of mouth, it entered at No. 2 on the iTunes album charts upon release earlier this week and is still in the Top 10. This, featuring Devlin, is one of the standout tracks and sums up why there's so much fuss about Ed Sheeran. A true DIY success story with a big future.
