We say

'Honest Man' is a blistering garage-rock anthem from Northampton duo Fountain. Driven by blues-soaked riffs that nod to RL Burnside and Howlin’ Wolf while channelling the feral energy of The Osees and Queens of the Stone Age, it crackles with urgency and snarling lyricism. Lifted from their forthcoming EP 'Big Bag Of New Nothings' (13 Jan), the track carries a desert-noir atmosphere — reverb-drenched guitars, spacious production, and a cinematic tension that feels tailor-made for alternative and rock DSP playlists, as well as spins at 6 Music and Radio X. The band’s growing profile has already seen them tipped by Dork and Earmilk, with airplay support from BBC Introducing, 6 Music and Total Rock. Next up, the band will headline the Troubadour in London on 21 October.
