Resistance
We say
Back in February, we introduced you to Italian-Swiss harpist and sonic innovator Kety Fusco, whose cinematic single 'BLOW' captivated us with its ethereal harp tones, dynamic electronics and widescreen aesthetics. With acclaim from BBC 6 Music, The Guardian and Wonderland and a standout collaboration with Iggy Pop on recent single 'SHE', she returned with 'Resistance' last week, the latest glimpse from her forthcoming second album 'BOHÈME' (out later this month). It's another evocative and mesmerising piece, especially considering that every sound on the song originates from her harp, transformed and pushed beyond its traditional boundaries into a personal, radical sound language. Watch the accompanying visual here. Fusco’s boundary-pushing vision has already taken her to the Royal Albert Hall, Montreux Jazz Festival, and more than 200 stages worldwide. With 'BOHÈME', she looks set to confirm her status as one of today’s most inventive reimaginers of the harp.
