We are seriously impressed with 'Don’t Leave Me Hangin’', the third single from the London-based, Hertfordshire-raised sibling trio Neckbreakers. It comes as little surprise, though — their debut 'Waiting On Your Call' and the RotD-featured 'Elephant' already showcased a band with a knack for harmony-rich guitar anthems, shimmering with ’80s textures and subtle shades of Fleetwood Mac. Having been championed by Chris Hawkins at 6 Music, the trio have had a busy summer 2025 with appearances at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Latitude, Wilderness and Download festivals and are now back with this anthemic gem. Released today (5 September), the track is another glorious release, filled with a driving bass, ethereal piano lines, a rich harmonica solo and those heavenly harmonies. It feels tailor-made for live/festival crowds while sounding right at home on Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music, as well as major indie/alternative DSP playlists. With more London shows and new singles on the way before the year’s out, Neckbreakers are a band to keep an eye on.
