All In Your Mind

We say

London’s Oslo Twins return with 'All In Your Mind', the hypnotic lead track from their new A/B side released digitally last week, with limited 7” vinyl (incl. B-side Sirens) due 15 October. Building on the success of their 'Tresor' EP, which we featured the stunning title track, this single pushes their evolution from Bristolian indie roots into a sleeker, after-dark electronic sphere, with Claudia Vulliamy’s lo-fi vocal giving it a dreamy, intimate edge. Produced by band member Eric C Davies in his east London studio, the track rides on kinetic beats and gleaming synths while drawing influence from Underworld, Orbital and Everything But The Girl. It’s a striking example of the group’s ability to fuse club culture with indie lyricism that has seen them become firm BBC 6 Music favourites (Steve Lamacq, Nick Grimshaw, Huw Stephens, Guy Garvey & Amy Lamé) and garner praise from NME, So Young, Independent, DIY, Clash and more. Spellbindingly brilliant.
