We've quickly been won over by the vibrant indie-pop sounds of Australian group Teenage Dads latest EP release 'My Memento'. Originally hidden as vinyl-only surprises on the 2024 album 'Majordomo', the tracks took on a life of their own after fans unearthed them, shared bootlegs, gave them names, and sparked a wave of enthusiasm on the band’s Discord. Inspired by this outpouring of support, the band decided to give these tracks an official release and even kept the fan-created song titles. With shimmering, anthemic indie-pop moments like this song, it’s easy to see why fans were so excited about the once-hidden tracks. Out this week, the EP builds on the success of their 2024 album 'Majordomo', which landed a triple j Feature Album and earned praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, NME, 10 Magazine and more. Next month, Teenage Dads take 'My Memento' and 'Majordomo' on the road with a UK and EU tour, including a London show at Omeara on 8 September-one to mark in the diary.
