‘I Dream’ is the inspiring new single from soul-pop and world music singer-songwriter Marquise Fair. Hailing from a working-class neighbourhood in Miami and raised by his grandmother, Marquis first discovered his passion for music in the church gospel choir. After picking up the guitar at 22, a fateful meeting with Swiss producer David Wehren led to the co-production of his debut album ‘Ripple’ in Switzerland. Hindered by the pandemic, he took the time off from touring to remotely record new material with artists for his upcoming new album, ‘Better World’. Released last week, ‘I Dream’ is a stirring, genre-spanning anthem that blends elements of soul-pop, world music, folk, jazz, reggae, and indie into a lush, textured soundscape.
