We say

There is something undeniably infectious about ‘How Are You Doing Now’ by Malaysian-born singer-songwriter and musician Rikki Lee. From the Kylie Minogue-esque dance-pop sensibilities to the energy of Sam Ryder’s pop-rock and fusion of Joe Satriani-inspired guitar solos, the track quickly draws you in with its addictive melodies and hooks. Released today (5 June) and with its radio-friendly air, we can see this picking up spins at Radio 1 and Radio 2, alongside new release programming and pop/electronic-pop playlists at DSPs. The London-based artist’s previous single, ‘Addiction’, saw her gain notable plays on Radio 1’s Future Alternative show, Amazing Radio UK & USA and Malaysia’s No.1 radio station Hitz FM. Known for her rock guitar solos, she has played at the Download Festival, appeared on ITV’s Game of Talents and worked as a touring guitarist/collaborator with artists like Priya Ragu, Connie Constance, Master Peace, and Fleur East. She has earned endorsements from brands like Fender, D’Addario, Focusrite and Seth Baccus Guitars and amassed over 1m views on a Fender Technique of the Week video. In April, she performed at the Camden Rocks festival showcasing new material, and next week, she will be playing the Tooting Tram in London on 12 June. With over 150k followers on social media and a string of singles planned for release ahead of an album in January 2025, Rikki is ready to showcase her new material and captivate listeners across the globe. One to watch.
