We say

Performing at London’s Paper Dress Vintage tonight (22 May) is Exeter alt-rock four-piece Die Twice. Having formed during the tail end of the pandemic, Olly Bayton (vocals/guitar), Jake Coles (drums), Finn Lloyd (bass) and Billy Twamley (guitar) have amassed a dedicated following in their hometown for their explosive live sets that have already seen them sell out the 500 capacity Exeter Phoenix twice. With influences from Led Zeppelin to Jeff Buckley, to Arctic Monkeys and Muse, the lads produce a sound that channels the past with a contemporary rock edge and a hint of blues. This melodic-blues rocker is their latest single and is the first of six new tracks recorded at the end of 2023 at Giant Wafer Studios in Wales with producer Ru Lemer (Foals, Tom Grennan) and mastered by Grammy-certified Mack Woodward (Maroon 5, Beyonce). Earlier this week, ‘Paris’ caught the attention of John Kennedy at Radio X and deserves additions to alt-rock/blues playlists at DSPs. Currently, on a tour across the UK, the band will also play a numerous summer festivals, including Rock Oyster, Wilderness and Boardmasters.
