Born and raised in Glasgow, ili is a multi-instrumental, singer, songwriter and independent artist. Having released her debut EP, ‘changes’, pre-pandemic, she returned in 2022 with a string of single releases, culminating in the release of her new EP, ‘It’s Giving...’, last week. It’s full of pop bangers, including the seriously infectious, Kylie-esque pop tune ‘Tongue Tied’, the synth-based pop-bop ‘2 Cool 2 Be Somebody’ and this bubblegum blast of pop goodness. Her music has featured on Spotify playlists (NMF, Fresh Finds), been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and London, as well as named as HMV’s Track of the Week. Plus, she has performed live and was interviewed on CBBC. Currently on mini tour promoting the release of her EP, ili will be performing tonight (20 Feb) at The Grace.
