Love, Loss & Teardrops

We say

London-based trio Do No Harm, made up of husband and wife Jess Mills and Finn Vine, and friend Owen Dyke deliver a gorgeously evocative dream-pop ode in their latest release, ‘Love, Loss & Teardrops’. Before formation in 2022, the band members have had extensive music careers, with Finn and Owen playing in White Rose Movement and Jess releasing under the moniker SLO, as well as writing/recording with Joe Goddard and as a vocalist for Leftfield on tour. With its hazy sonic textures, ethereal vocals/harmonies and rousing guitar melodies, the song is a luscious affair. Deserving of spins on 6 Music, specialist Radio 1 shows, Radio X and Virgin FM, we can also see this picking up alternative/indie contextual playlists at DSPs too. Tonight (15 February), they will be playing their first of three monthly residencies at Servant Jazz Quarters in aid of the humanitarian charity Choose Love, of which Jess is a founding member. Alongside their performance, Andy Bell (Ride/GLOK) will also be joining them as a special guest DJ.
