Cayman-born, London-based singer-songwriter Maeve is an artist not shy about blissfully melding bewitching multi-layered sonic soundscapes to create bold, honest and epic pop offerings. She’s already caught the attention of tastemakers Paper, Dazed, Glamcult, Notion, Hunger, The Face, Clash, Radio 1 and Spotify for her fearless DIY aesthetic and sound. We last featured her ahead of her Great Escape performance in May with the gorgeous synthy and trippy single ‘Hounds’. Last week, she dropped her second EP, ‘Hyperbloom’, co-produced with Grammy nominated Gabrielle Stok, and this is the brilliant title and focus track. With its almost Swift-ian tinged pop sound, ‘Hyperbloom’ featured on Spotify UK’s New Music Friday playlist and would be perfect for spins on Radio 1. Quite simply stunning.
