‘Melty Brains’ is the grunge heavy new single from Dublin-based alternative band Forty Foot. Through energetic, distortion-fuelled riffs, infectious vocal melodies and honest lyrics, the release sees the four-piece delve into the lives of the band members in Dublin. Recorded at Camden Recording Studios in the city, the song has seen picked up early support from Irish tastemakers, including Hot Press. Perfect for alternative/rock editorial playlists at DSPS, ‘Melty Brains’ follows previous singles, ‘Zeros’, ‘IDNA’ and debut ‘Drugs’, which have seen the band receive tastemaker support at Irish radio and press. Having supported October Drift on their recent tour, the band are working on more live dates for this autumn/winter. Raw, thunderous ’90s doused rock with a look to the now. Top stuff.
