We are big fans of the ethereal pop sounds of east London-based artist and producer Blakey, having supported him since the release of his moving track 'Future Skies' back in 2018. His music has been streamed globally over 45m times, generated 250k+ Shazams after featuring on numerous syncs (from Netflix’s Ginny and Georgia to ITV’s Love Island), and added to numerous Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists. Plus, there's been radio support from Radio 1, 1Xtra and Radio 2, along with press praise from Noisey, Clash, and Notion. After a busy year writing, producing and recording a ton of music, Blakey is set to release 23 new songs over five EP’s in the next three months, starting with his first EP, ‘Otherside’, this Friday (14 July). Opening as a slow piano-led, melancholic lullaby about loss, lead single ‘Cells’ blossoms into a driving, euphoric indie dance anthem about hope. Primed for sync and those uplifting contextual playlists at DSPs, ‘Cells’ marks a promising start to Blakey’s new campaign. He is currently looking for a new team to help on this journey and future projects.
