We say

The Fae are an alt-rock trio from Dublin who, after the release of their debut single ‘Chloe’ earlier this year, are picking up their fair share of attention in the right places. Their blend of indie, power pop shoe-gaze and alternative rock saw Steve Lamacq at 6 Music, John Kennedy at Radio X and Dan Hegarty at 2FM (Track of the Week) all come out with praise and support for the single, alongside features with Hot Press, Atwood and Nialler 9. From this buzz, the trio quickly landed a live agent and lawyer after lots of interest, and now, the group have followed it up with this shimmering jangle pop gem. With its Cranberries-esque guitar chorus and Wolf Alice alt-rock feel, ‘do you mind if i miss you?’ is a gorgeous ode “about finding compassion” that marks them as an exciting emerging act to keep an eye on. Deserving of spins at Radio 1, 6 Music, and Radio X, we’d also expect to see this popping up on alt-rock editorial playlists at DSPs soon. The Fae already have their debut EP ‘Bloodrush’ ready to go and are currently looking for a label to release it, so if you like what you hear, what are you waiting for – get in touch.
