Blowing us away with their immersive and epic visual offering for the singles, Oíche and Back On My Bullshit, is Irish duo The Cope. Formed by Dublin producers David Anthony Curley and Joe Furlong (who can often be seen on stage with James Vincent McMorrow), the duo came together to craft a 360° audio-visual experience, connecting human experience to electronic music, and they have certainly done that. Their releases have caught the attention of tastemakers like Mixmag, Clash, Kaltblut, and Nialler 9 while Independent Ireland named them as one of their 2023 Ones To Watch artists. Back On My Bullsh-t is their latest release, an electro-pop banger with echoes of Justice, Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers about it. Featuring as the second part of their stunning 10 minute video, directed by David and featuring dancer James Vu Anh Pham at the KMSKA (Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp), the video is an exquisite piece of cinematography and elevates the track further. Just brilliant.
