We last featured British vocalist and songwriter Alice Auer when she collaborated with Conor Albert in 2020 on the laidback Smile. Now back with this blissful ode from her forthcoming EP Baby, Cry, Alice has once again teamed up with labelmate Conor to tell a story of empowerment. Anchored by a groove-laden rhythm section, Alice’s graceful vocals effortlessly glide over Conor’s keys and guitar elements for a delectable jazz-infused pop listen. Tastemaker support has come from The Independent, The Line of Best Fit, Clash and La Blogotheque, to name just a few. With consistent BBC Radio 1 support from Jack Saunders and Sian Eleri for her music, expect to hear this spun on their shows soon.
