This unruly and authentic blast of indie is the new single from Tycho Jones. After bursting onto the scene with their mixtape Tyhconaut in 2021, they were praised by Elton John, picked up radio support from Jack Saunders (Radio 1) and Matt Wilkinson (Apple Music) and were nominated for a UK VMA. Plus, they were selected by Virgil Abloh as part of his final exhibition, Coming of Age, in partnership with the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Tycho Jones then took a year out from releasing music to concentrate on their mental health, build a band and develop a live persona and style of movement. Risk To My Reward marks the first steps into their new direction after swapping out their laidback sound for a more energetic, catchy and playful sound. Released on Hoxton-based independent record label Globe Town Records, this is a vibrant and addictive release. One to watch.
