Let us introduce you to 28 year old London-based artist, writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jack Ducker. Drawing on indie and folk influences alongside undertones of funk psychedelia and rock, Rockstar is his debut release. Written and produced by Jack at his recording studio Fairlight, which he runs with his brother, the track is a powerful story about a struggle with identity. Recorded to tape to ensure his love for authenticity, Rockstar hints at his love of the '70s with chunky guitars combined with echoes of The Black Keys and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Accompanying the track is a music video (soon to be released) directed by fashion and music photographer Alex Beer. Early tastemaker support has come from Wonderland but deserves to be added to rock playlists at DSPs and receive spins at 6 Music and Radio 1. Jack is currently completing his debut EP, along with working on music with artists at his studio, including Saint Joshua, Blair Mackichan and Roy Juxon.
