Full of sass and badass female energy, Boom Boom Bah is the latest release from Birmingham-born R&B artist DEJA. Loaded with radiating hip beats, confident lyricism and swish pop elements, the track is sure to turn an ear or two. Early support has come from blogs, but we reckon it deserves more attention and would be perfect addition to R&B playlists at DSPs, along with spins on 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss and Radio 1. Previous tastemaker support for the west London-based singer has come from Colors, Clash Mag, Notion, Wonderland, Trench, Complex, Dummy, Viper, Kaltblut, Mixtape Madness, Guap, Noctis and BBC Introducing. Earlier this summer, she performed at London Fashion Week for designer Ozwald Boateng and also at Cambridge Pride. For fans of a UK twist on Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.
