Ira Nor is a 22 year old Oslo-based artist who combines elements of electronic-pop, hyperpop and soaring indie-pop to create emotive music. Earlier this year, she dropped her debut release on tastemaker label 777 Music and attracted praise online from The Line of Best Fit, Dummy, GAFFA and Pop Matters. Written and recorded in a cabin with frequent collaborator and producer Øyvind Glåmen, doomed is her follow up and final single to be taken from her Swim Ira EP (out later this month). Exuding personal defiance as she sings about moving on from a doomed relationship, the track is a gorgeous affair with echoes of Troye Sivan, Charli XCX and 070 Shake. Next month, she will be playing at by:Larm Festival, so if you are in attendance, we suggest you pop Ira Nor on your watch list.
