We last featured fast-rising Irish singer-songwriter Robert Grace as an unsigned artist back in June 2020 with Fake Fine, a punkish slice of gritty pop perfection. Since then, that track has gone platinum in Ireland, amassed over 11.5m streams, and led him to be signed to Columbia Germany and RCA US. He quickly became the third most played Irish male solo artist after Dermot Kennedy and Niall Horan on Irish radio and built up a healthy number of TikTok followers (1.9m) and a dedicated Instagram community (72k). Released last Friday (1 October), Break The Silence tells the tale of a toxic relationship coming to an end and was written with the songwriting and production team Red Triangle (KSI, Yungblud, Green Day). With its infectious beat, irresistible chorus and punchy pop vibe, the song made an immediate impact at streaming services with additions to editorial playlists at Spotify (incl NMF UK/DE/DK/FI), Apple Music, Amazon Music and Deezer. Having collaborated and written with artists and writers like gnash, KIDDO, KIN, Jamie Hartman (Rag'n'Bone Man), and Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran) over the last couple of months, there is more music to come from this talented songwriter and performer.
