Released last Friday (20 August) and featuring on Spotify UK’s New Music Friday, New Pop UK and A Breath of Fresh Éire playlists, Simple is the vibrant and summery new track from Irish pop singer and songwriter Fia Moon. Co-written and produced with Bill Maybury (Cian Ducrot, Lenii, Robert Grace) and LA-based artist, producer and songwriter Austin Ward (Arlissa, G-Easy, Umi) entirely remotely over video calls, the song has already made an impact at Irish radio with support over regional stations and RTÉ 2FM. Further tastemaker support has come from Notion, The Last Mixtape, Hot Press, and Goldenplec, to name just a few. It’s been fifteen months since we last featured Fia here at RotD, and with this hazily hushed shimmer of brilliance, Fia continues to show why she is one to watch.
