We say

At the start of March, we featured the beautiful A Sun Going Down by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Natalie McCool. Having impressed many in 2020, including BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, the LIPA graduate has continued to build on this success and amass further tastemaker praise with the aforementioned single and Heaven from the likes of Wonderland, Clash and Under The Radar, to name just a few. Taken from her forthcoming album Memory Girl at the end of July, Take Me To Your Leader is a heartfelt slice of compelling alt-pop with a PJ Harvey-esque guitar riff and bouncing production. The track has picked up spins on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio here in the UK, while in the US it’s been added to Amazing Radio’s C list. She has just announced headline shows in London (Jaguar Shoes) and Liverpool (Kazimier Stockroom) on 18 and 19 August respectively. As mentioned in our previous feature, she also hosts a monthly podcast series called McCool & The Gang, which has recently featured Pixey and She Drew The Gun.
