Swedish dream-pop artist Rebecka Reinhard continues to impress with this bold and progressive second single from her forthcoming Whale EP (out 21 August). Since dropping the title track of the EP back in May, which we featured, the London-based artist has picked up tastemaker support from the likes of Clash, When The Horn Blows, Nothing But Hope & Passion and more. Released earlier this week (30 June), No Release sees Reinhard opt for a slow build, filled with calming guitar chords and her wistful voice, which finally blossoms into a heady mix of cacophonous drums and soaring hooks. Just brilliant, Beats Per Minute, Songwriting Magazine and Vanyaland are already fans, and with Earmilk, One To Watch and Under The Radar confirmed for features, Rebecka Reinhard is quickly becoming an online favourite. She deserves your attention.
