ROTD featured date: Friday 6 March 2020

We say

Swirling in deliciously dark overtones and earthy, clubby vibes is this introspective alt-pop number from RotD favourite Salt Ashes. After finishing 2019 with over 10.5m combined streams, playing a packed headline show at Colours in London and supporting Alphabeat at their UK show, Brighton-based artist Veiga Sanchez, aka Salt Ashes, is back with her first new music of 2020. Written after a night out with friend and fellow artist Roseanne Lewis and produced by Louis Souyave, counting crosses’ is the title track to her new EP out today. Her music has received stamps of approval from the likes of MTV, Billboard, Noisey, The Guardian, The Line of Best Fit, Popjustice, Wonderland and BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra. Tonight (6 March) she will be supporting Ekkah at the Moth Club in London, having previously opened for artists such as Tove Styrke, Say Lou Lou, Nimmo, and Bright Light Bright Light. Broodingly seductive alt-pop.
