We have been keeping tabs on rising Berlin-based experimental pop artist Novaa since she beguiled us with the intricate and gorgeous single Drones last year. Now back with this haunting and introspective thought piece that floats seamlessly over atmospheric electronic beats, Novaa has once again captivated us with her tender delivery and lyricism. Written four years ago while she was still at university, Alien is a comforting track taken from her forthcoming second album, The Futurist, out later this year. Tastemaker support for her singles and self-titled album released last year has come from the likes of the Line of Best Fit, Complex, Clash, Kaltblut Magazine and Nothing But Hope and Passion among others. No news of a UK show yet, but she will be going on a tour of Germany in April and will be at Lollapalooza Berlin in September. Beautifully crafted intimate and bewitching alt-pop.
