Evoking the stadium spirit of the Boss and the anthemic songwriting nature of The Killers, Cappuccino is the latest release from Northern Irish four-piece Hunkpapa. Hailing from County Armagh, the lads have been building a loyal fanbase across Ireland with their live shows, as well as in London, Berlin and Amsterdam, are on to a winner here with this contagious dose of alt-rock mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Bloc Party and Imagine Dragons). Driven by a thundering percussion, soaring melodies and massive sing-along moments, Cappuccino is a pure stadium rock gem that has already had John Kennedy from Radio X give it his praise and a number of spins, alongside plays from BBC Radio Ulster and Amazing Radio. Further tastemaker support has come from the Line of Best Fit, Indietronica and Scientists of Sound, while their previous singles, Losing All and Half Alive, have garnered praise from Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol). Having recently had to turn down an offer to support Gogol Bordello on their US tour due to visa issues, Hunkpapa are currently seeking management and will be heading out on a 13 date UK and Ireland tour this September/October. Anthemic rock of the highest quality.
