It’s been nearly two years since family alt-pop trio Wildwood Kin released their debut album, Turning Tides. It has now amassed over 20m combined streams and led Beth, Emillie and Meghann to perform at Glastonbury and Radio 2 Live. Back with this gorgeous and powerful return, co-written and produced by Ed Harcourt, Wildwood Kin deliver a deeply personal and supportive message to anyone feeling isolated. Conjuring up Fleetwood Mac-like folk-rock with ethereal harmonies and sombre tones, Never Alone has been picking up great support across regional radio, plays from Mark Radcliffe (Radio 2) and praise from online tastemakers Clash, Thank Folk For That, and When The Horn Blows among others. Last week, they dropped their beautiful video filmed in the West Pennine Moorlands and have just recorded a live session for BBC London. Later this year they will release their self-titled second album and from this early taster, we are in for a real treat.
