After a self-imposed eighteen months break to focus on nailing their sound, British alt-pop trio Flawes are back with this gloriously emphatic and ethereal electro-pop banger. Formed by frontman JC in the summer of 2015, the band garnered significant acclaim for their initial releases, including Don’t Wait For Me, which was made Record of the Week on BBC Radio 1, reached No.8 on Spotify’s viral chart and chosen to soundtrack the trailers of hit US TV series Lie To Me. Released on Friday and featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday (UK, SE, DK), as well as Deezer’s Brand New playlists, Don’t Count Me Out is the first of three new tracks to be released over the next three months and it’s an absolute gem. Reminiscent of Bastille and Imagine Dragons, with its huge vocal hooks and soaring synth melodies, this anthemic rock-tinged number is sure to garner the London-based trio more fans and further spins on Radio 1 in the near future. Infectious alt-pop at its best.
