We say

With over 200m combined streams so far for his first three EPs, Mancunian MC Bugzy Malone has just dropped this bonafide smash hit in the making. Produced by MOJAM (Plan B, Sam Smith) and mixed by Mark Ralph, Run sees a reflective Bugzy rhyming on his own street life struggles of the past whilst providing a warning to today’s youth. Propelled by a skippy, trip-hop beat over a delicate piano motif and featuring the soulful, soaring vocals of Rag‘n’Bone Man on the chorus, it's a powerful and emotional track that’s set to feature heavily in streaming new release programming this Friday, as well as in contextual playlists. Radio support has so far come from Annie Mac on Radio 1 (Hottest Record) and DJ Target on 1Xtra (Targo Embargo) but we expect over the coming weeks this will garner many more spins and playlist spots. Taken from his highly anticipated forthcoming debut album, B. Inspired, which features guest appearances from JP Cooper, Not3s and Maverick Sabre, Run has everything to become his biggest hit to date with huge crossover appeal. This autumn, he will set out on an extensive UK headline tour with its 40,000 tickets already heading towards a sell out. But if you can’t wait until then to see him perform live there are rumours of a secret gig in London next week. Until then, just enjoy this gorgeous masterpiece from one of grime’s most talented narrators.
